Just in time for the 2020 election, "Best of the Worst" is the latest original release (and the first in a series of singles) by Jim Smith, a legendary New Orleans singer-songwriter, storyteller, and man about town. Says Jim, "Best of the Worst is dedicated to every single politician I've ever had the great displeasure of voting for."

This "single" (in the great tradition of the vinyl 45") is the first in a series featuring a Jim Smith original as the A-side and a his version of a famous/semi-famous cover song on the B-side. Enjoy!

Jim Smith is the longtime host of the Acoustic Singer-Songwriter Night at the infamous Checkpoint Charlie's, where the French Quarter ends and Frenchmen Street begins (or vice versa).
